Maddie's birthday party

We had Maddie's birthday party yesterday!

It was delayed one week 'cause the indoor playground we had it at was fully booked.. but still, she had a great one!

Her friends from school came, they brought her lots of presents and had lots of fun!

Here are some pictures! I'm not in any of them 'cause I was the one taking them, and they're not many either 'cause we spent more time playing and stuff than taking pics :P 

some of them are slightly blurry but oh well :P

they really had a good day, Maddie was super happy!

She really loved all her presents too!

she got:

- a cash register with toy fruit and toy coins

-two puzzles

- a mug filled with chupa chups

- a coloring album with fiber pens

- a doll

- a little barbie

- a sapientino game

-2 pairs of tights

and a table set

:D

so yeah, the party was definitely a success!

xmas decorations!

It's been forever since I last wrote something here :O

Anyway, last week we went to the mall and we decided to visit the furniture shop.. there were a lot of xmas decorations and trees so we decided to take some pictures, the stuff was really pretty!

Play Park

It was kinda chilly over here yesterday, so we opted for some indoor place rather than a playground.

we went to this 'play park' place for the first time.. it was awesome!

They have a LOT of space for kids to play in.. there's a huge ball pool with slides and pillows, a trampoline, lots of pillows to build forts and such, little bike-like things, play houses and bouncy balls.

There's also a bar with lots of yum things and 4 rooms especially for kids who want to celebrate their birthday there! 

Speaking of which, I'm considering celebrating Maddie's birthday there.. the kids are gonna have so much fun! And it's great since it's indoors and her birthday is always on a really cold day (:

Anyway, here are some pictures!

Sorry for the blurry ones and for the fact Maddie is almost always looking on the other side, it's not so easy to picture playing kids :P

Maddie's first day of kindergarten

We had a big day today! 

Maddie started kindergarten for the first time!

She's been really, really happy about it!

Since it was the very first time the kids ever got into a school, parents were allowed to stay.. of course i took some pictures :P

When we first arrived, we were greeted by the teachers who did a little puppet show with plush animals!

After this the kids were allowed to run around and do whatever they liked! Maddie played with toy cars and on the slides!

After a little they all went into the other room and played with salt paste

and they drew

Then the teachers offered the kids a lovely nutella sandwich and orange juice snack!

After the kids were allowed to do what they pleased again, so we went to try the 'soft room', where they have pillows, balloons, hula hoops and a plastic ball pool!

Maddie had so much fun in this room!

After we went to see another room, the library!

they have so many books there!

After we went back to the main room and we all  sang a song, then we went home!

Since it's the first day, and for all the first week, they went home before lunch but next week they'll be eating lunch at school too!

I must say i'm absolutely happy with the school! The teachers are absolutely nice and you can see they're good at their job! They have so many rooms.. the main room, the bathroom (all toddler-sized! ), the soft room, the library, the lunch room, and one room for each class (there are 3 classes, little, medium and big kids :D ). They also have a gym downstairs and the food is made directly there by their own cook!

The rooms are SO colorful too!

I'm glad i chose this school, and Maddie was really happy about it too! 

I think it's gonna be a really good year :D
